Six undergraduates of the University of Abuja, have gotten an amount of N1.7 million examination award from the college’s Middle for Undergrad Exploration Asset.
Talking at the college’s subsequent Undergrad Exploration Day on Thursday, the Vice Chancellor of the college, Prof. Abdul-Rasheed Na’Allah, said the award was to help the undergraduates in creating answers for public issues.
As indicated by him, government, guardians and industry should admire colleges to take care of issues.
“We will probably guarantee that whatever we do as examination, the business will get it and foster it further for the improvement of the general public.
“Examination is tied in with discovering answers for public issues. We need their brain to be set up so that consistently they contemplate carrying change to society. We need to likewise bring issues to light that colleges have such a great amount to add to our reality”
He asked different colleges to imitate the University of Abuja by having focuses of undergraduate research.
Director, Centre for Undergraduate Studies, of the Univerity, Dr Taibat Adebukola Atoyebi, said
28 applications were gotten from understudy out of which the best six was picked.
